A darling piece of furniture very much in the vein of a Canterbury but taking the form of a what-not.

Constructed of mahogany, the single drawer is lined in oak and pine with its front exhibiting choice ‘fiddleback’ veneer. The bobbin turned uprights are beautifully patinated, as are the diminutive bulbous turned feet which are raised on perfectly proportioned brass cup castors.

All in all, its wonderfully honest and tremendously practical and versatile.

Solid and usable with some wear commensurate with age.

British Isles, circa 1840.
